For those unfamiliar with this application, it can display and sell items in your shop Prestashop or Magento your Facebook account (for more info go to the Facebook group ).
After long hours of development, we decided to show you the result, before the release of the module that is imminent, and let you speak!
So feel free to comment and to request new features. Nevertheless we will ask you to be lenient on the design, it is not yet finalized.
What does one find the program module for Magento and Prestashop Facebook?
- Full support systems Prestashop and Magento!
- A template engine, themes
- Button "I love it"
- Languages available: English, French, German, Spanish
- Support of a logo, slogan for your Header
- Support of an image and a text editor to the homepage
- On each page the visitor can be redirected to your "real" store, or can add to their shopping cart items.
How does the module Facebook?
Prestashop: you must place a module on your online store . It generates RSS feeds, our application uses to display your store on Facebook. This allows a connection in a secure manner. Indeed you do not provide database identifiers, or the administration part.
Magento: We use the WebService: You must create an enabling role only to retrieve data from your catalog (not that you can change). This allows you to give us the identifiers for the user's role in safety. In this way, we can not change anything on your shop with them.
The WebService can be long after the accommodation, or the database. Our application, your application generates a list of files to cache all your products and categories. This makes it possible to have a fast display to the user. When you change your catalog, you can simply update the Facebook application by clicking a button.
A template engine?
Demand was very strong in our first implementation Prestashop reserved. How to change the look of my shop. Now every shop will have a unique look, using a theme.
"I Love It"
We shopped how to use the strengths of our Facebook application. And especially how to make friends of my friends can see my products.
That's why we created this little button up in front of each product name. This will allow visitors to click on your store, and display on their wall, they love this product with a link to your store, and to the product (they will of course accompany this message to a text of their choice). Practice to tell what product you want, or what product you bought!

The home page of your shop:
You can use a text editor to customize, and upload the desired image. The banner is of course customizable with the ability to display the logo, store name and slogan of your choice
A simple first category (no picture or subcategories). You can begin to see the button I Love It (little heart) before each product name.
A second category (with image, sub-categories, but not products).
The appearance of a product:
Support for related products is not yet posted, but will be available to the module output!
The feature "I Love It":
The visitor clicks on the small heart. A confirmation box appears (it may add a message). Upon valid, his friends can see that love your product on his wall!
Practice to tell what product he wants, or what product they will buy!
