The operation
The operation of the module has not changed. We always use XML files to pass the database of your store to Facebook. So all the transmission is secure. There is no sensitive data circulating on the network.
The following photos are rendering a Prestashop using our new module. Of course, we created a custom theme for them (available here ), which shows all the possibilities offered by our new template system!

The cache
Now the module has a cache, very interesting feature for Facebook accounts with hundreds of hits per day. Once a visitor has visited a part of the application, the next visitor will not ask the module to reload the XML file for that page. Of course, the module has a button to clear the cache.
The themes
What was the most anticipated by our users was, without doubt, the possibility to change the appearance of his Shopializable and to customize it.
It's done! The module now contains a template file. You will find a folder "default-reduced" contains the default theme. You are free to modify it to use another etc ...
With the theme, you can change everything. The colors, text, layout elements ...
And Magento ?
The module for Magento is available here and the manual here .
The application fee is now
For € 10 you can use the application. We are confident that we will disappoint some fans of the free application. Unfortunately, we realized that the application was too difficult to maintain between the versions of Prestashop, Magento, new Facebook, the loads on our servers (the application being hosted on our servers). In the end the quality of the application was largely degraded, we can now avoid.
In short, we tried to display the module to the lowest price possible, so that even the smallest retailer can use it.
You can also order the installation of the module on your shop with us .
A new version of the manual is available here
Installing the module on Prestashop
Once the module is downloaded (if not already done so, visit our shop ), install it on Prestashop.
To do this, copy the module in the "modules" of your installation of Prestashop.
See you then, in the Administrator Modules tab. Look for the name "Shopializable" in the list of modules (Part Tools / Tools).

Click Install and then configure.

You should see the form configuration Shopializable. Now you just have to fill out the fields. None of these fields is mandatory.

A small drop-down menu lets you choose the theme to use. We recommend that you use "default-reduced".

Finally, simply click the "Update". It is essential to support at least once on this button for the proper functioning of the module (even if you made any changes).
The installation is complete on the side of Prestashop. It was not bad

Installing the Facebook pages for
Please follow these instructions once you are connected on Facebook and you've created your Facebook page. The application must settle on a Facebook page, not a Facebook account. If you do not have a page, you can create one at this address: http://www.facebook.com/pages/create.php
Login to your Facebook account, then go to the address of our Facebook application. http://www.facebook.com/apps/application.php?id=290911957094
Click "Add to my page" (Do not click on "Go to application") and select the "Add a page" to the name of your Facebook page.

Then go to your Facebook page (by seeking the name of your page for example).

Click on the link "change my page" just below the profile picture.
(For the new version of Facebook pages link "change my page" is a small button in the upper right.)
You are now on the configuration page on your Facebook page. In the left menu, click "Applications".

In the application list, locate "Shopializable2" and click "Go to application"

You are now on the configuration page of the module. In the first field, enter the exact address to our extension. That is the exact address of the root of your store (not an introductory page or other site parallel) followed by "/ modules / shopializable /".
Example: http://www.nomdedomaine.com/modules/shopializable/
If your shop is in a subfolder, the example would be: http://www.nomdedomaine.com/dossier/modules/shopializable/

Do not forget the "http://" and the last "/" at the end of the address.
Once you have clicked "Save", turn on your Facebook page.
Once you are on, you should have a tab "Shop". Otherwise, click the little extra on the bar next to the photo.

You should have a tab "shop". If clicked, the application should load. To make it mandatory visible, you can move the tab bar to the left.
If you have not seen a tab "shop", simply enter "shop" in the search field. You should see the name of the application "Shopializable2".

(For the new version of Facebook pages available from March 11, 2011, the tab is on the left now).
The application should be installed.
If you want to change the tab name (default "shop"), you can do so by going to your page. Then in the page to edit (click on the button at the top right "edit page"). On the left column, click "Applications" and then in front of Shopializable click "Change Settings". You will have in front of "Custom tab name" or "Custom Tab Name" field to change the name.
You can if you want to display by default the store on your Facebook page rather than your wall for example. Follow the short tutorial available here
Troubleshooting
You can change the overall template, images, translate or modify the terms posted on Facebook by changing the files contained in the template you have chosen. The templates can be found in the following folder: "/ modules / shopializable / template /".
We develop custom templates Shopializable. Contact us for more information.
For readability, no support will be made per comment (comments will be deleted)! Thank you for using the contact form for that! We will reply as soon as possible. Add at your request, the URL of your Facebook page and the URL of your shop.
If when you go on the application, the page is completely blank. The address entered in the configuration may not be good. A simple test is to enter this address in a browser window (http://votreboutique.com/modules/shopializable). You should be redirected to the home page of your store.
The page is still empty? A simple test is to verify that writing configuration files went well. Enter in your browser to: http://votreboutique.com/modules/shopializable/xml/configuration.xml. If you can not on one but on a XML file or an error on page 404, the XML file does not have the right permissions. Therefore assign the xml file "/ modules / shopializable / xml / 'permission 755, you can also try 777.
Did you remember to validate the form configuration Shopializable in Prestashop? If you just change the permissions of the XML file, repeat the module configuration and click OK on the "Update" or "Empty Cache".
You still can not use our module. It is possible that the configuration of your hosting prevents us from recovering the template Shopializable. You can then try the theme "default-reducedtxt" in the configuration of Shopializable.
A category is generated wrong? You can manually generate a class (to update the content, or if it does not display correctly) by entering the identifier of the bottom of the module category Shopializable
To use Shopializable in English, configure the module with the theme "defaulten"
If you have a 404 error when adding to cart, add at the end of your. Htaccess the following lines:
L.php RewriteRule / order.php [L, E]
RewriteRule profile.php / order.php [L, E]
