During our 15 days of absences, several interesting developments have emerged.
- Prestashop is finally out in final form, it is now possible to offer it to customers. Recall that Prestashop has the advantage of Magento to be much more simple and accessible particularly for small online stores. It has the disadvantage of a smaller community and still has a few add-ons. But it is surely one of the most promising if the ease of use of the product remains the watchword of the developers, the policy remains to be seen in the cost of add-ons that will be available shortly. More info
- Prestashop team to set up a new tool: Bug Tracker , allowing anyone to file a bug and follow its correction.
- Magento was released in version 1.13 fixes some bugs. DINFO More
- Smile at output connector between Magento and OpenERP (open source software inventory management, accounting ...), it can update a software based on changes made in the other. More info
That's the latest, we will describe shortly some other extensions for Magento.

Ben Indeed, the integration of a CMS would be an attractive option for Prestashop but I think the team think about it, to follow. However it is quite possible to use a cms and point to a menu item to its eboutique Prestashop (inconvenience, graphics integration, advertising ... which is not obvious).
An intermediate solution is proposed on the blog Psfrance by Pierre-Yves
Hello,
I make a survey of Magento for my degree in marketing and Internet commerce. (Estimated time to answer 5 minutes)
I invite you to respond by clicking the link below: http://www.sphinxonline.net/sheshebrown/memoire-magento/index.htm?sphinxaspxid
Each answer is important because there are not many agencies working on Magento
To thank you for your participation, I will send you my paper and the results of the investigation.
I was convinced he had already commented on this post ...
I was saying, prestashop does, the latest news, still no CMS. Can we talk about final use?
