How to manage your purchases and your logistics in Magento

We will present now the modulus of the House of Software for Magento to help you manage your purchases and your logistics

Magento does not have functionality to manage inventory, purchasing and logistics. If you want to manage these items you will need to use external software and perform synchronizations between the two. If the choice of an ERP such as Open ERP is sensible in the case of a site with a lot of orders, however this solution is disproportionate for small and medium sites e-commerce (up to 200 orders per day) because it entails costs in terms of installation, configuration and training.
It is this audience that is addressed in this module allows management of your purchases and your logistics directly within Magento.

This module consists of two parts, we will detail the benefits of each of these parts:

Part 1 - Procurement:

If you adopt this module, a new product is introduced. It will contain valuable information like the date of supply of the product and you will know precisely the state of his stock and automatically calculate your selling price based on your line or your purchase price

For all your orders, invoices, shipments, with a small graphic placed in the header, you can see at a glance the status of these:

Now that we have seen major changes in your product pages, orders, invoices and shipping, we'll see how this module facilitates the management of your supply. If you go to the menu "supply need", you will be able to automatically display the list of items you need to fill:

This list is actually a summary of the products for which supplies are needed. Different cases are considered:

• Products for which the stock is below the minimum quantity
• Products for which the stock does not fulfill customer orders placed.
• Products with supply needs but a purchase order has already passed (they will appear in green)

From this list, you can filter by type of supply requirements, manufacturer, supplier and with a single click, create a purchase order with the necessary products and their quantities pre-filled.

Once you select the product you wish to replenish, you'll be able to view your purchase history for this product and the supplier, which will give you all the information necessary to negotiate the most of your replenishment with suppliers.

Once completed the negotiation with your supplier, you can automatically generate the corresponding order form and print it to PDF.
After placing your order, the quantities ordered will be automatically transmitted to the supply needs to update the order quantities and product names will be assigned a provisional date of replenishment that your customers will see on your site.
Each delivery of your provider, a dedicated space is provided in the purchase order to automatically create and stock movements and restock your products. These stock movements are also available in the data sheet.
Once you receive your order the products, the module will automatically calculate the purchasing costs by spreading the cost of transportation and customs fees to help you determine the price of your products to the nearest, playing on the sale price and margin.

Part 2 - management and order picking:

An interface allows you to view the list of pending commands and ventilate the basis of their stock status: complete orders and commands one or more items are missing.
With one click, the order picker can select the commands it wants to process and automatically generate invoices and shipments for all orders.
Once these elements are generated, this module allows you to export controls to software carrier (such as microjet (tnt), expeditor (colissimo) or express shipper (TNT)) to generate a portion of the label carriers but also to achieve the reverse namely the automatic import into Magento numbers trackings. (If you need to add new carriers, the Software House can do it for free).
Once these operations are completed, a button to notify all customers warning them of the creation of their invoice, shipment and track their packages.

Part 3 - Other Information:

The package is priced at 860 euros excluding VAT and includes:

• Purchasing and logistics modules
• The updates free of charge without time limit
• The addition of new carriers Free

You can if you wish, create a module to change the treatment of the latter.

This module can be a good addition to your e-commerce, especially if you need to manage your purchases and preparation of your orders.
