Boost your sales by displaying your products in price comparison

A good way to boost your sales is to put your product catalog on a price comparison as: LeGuide.com.
For this there are a free module you can download on this site under "Shop Guide".

These comparators have generally high traffic and allows you to be placed alongside the stars of the web. However it will take your products to be quite rare on the web or your prices are low enough not to overshadow you!

Warning

If you want to install this module, and so that it works, it is necessary that the url rewriting (simplification of Internet addresses) of your shop to be enabled. If this is not the case, simply go to the administration part of your shop, then the Preferences tab and select â € € œouiâ opposite the simplified URL.
It will then rename the file htacess.txt your installation. Htaccess using your FTP Client.

Installation

Installation is very simple as in most modules Prestashop :

• Download the module on this site , then unzip with a program like 7-zip (available under the € â € œOutilsâ blog).

You get the configuration page of our module:


Fill out the details and click Create. At this point, a small text box should appear in a textarea:


Copy this whole area (Ctrl + a) and paste it into a text editor (like notepad).
Save the file and name it: â € € œleguide.txtâ.
Using your ftp client (like Filezilla available under â € € œOutilsâ blog) place this file in the Guide, we had previously transferred within your facility Prestashop (prestashop / modules / guide /).

For the module to communicate with the site LeGuide.com, you must be registered on it. To do this please visit the registration page and fill in the various fields.
Once the e-mail confirming receipt and the second information form completed, you can add your shop.
Then click on â € œAjouter a sitea €:

Once the site is added and validated by the team of the comparator, you only have to click â € œMettre update informationsâ € in the Sites tab, in front of your shop:


Then go under the heading â € € œLiensâ you find in œGénéralâ € â €.
In front of the field: â € € œURL Product Catalog, enter the address of the text file we created earlier (if you followed our tutorial: http://monsite.com/modules/guide/leguide.txt).

Then carefully fill the various fields of other forms. You must take particular care with the information you get back into these fields, as they will give confidence to the visitors who will discover you on the site.
Once this information is validated, your products can be cataloged on the site: LeGuide.com.
