You want to put forward a range of product on your site?

Prestashop offers you the opportunity to do so with the use of scenes. As its name suggests, it will stage the images of your products, to redirect your customer after the product selected.

For example (we are back on stage with Prestashop supplied): You have several products in the same range. (Here many players different).
To highlight the range you want to call an image in a category, or on the homepage.
Instead of a single image comprising the different players, you can add interactivity.
Thus the customer can click on each product image, which will send the product page of the player he has chosen!

How?

Manage Prestashop scenes: you have several products listed in your catalog and a picture grouping these aforementioned products.
For our example we will use articles dummy.

Scene

We use the images provided at the facility Prestashop, so you can recreate the scene. To start, go in the "Catalog>> Scenes.

Scene

Creating a new scene

Click New, then enter a name for your new scene. (Here: "The iPod line). Then choose the image used in the scene.

Scene

Once the range created, click on it.

Scene

Creating a new interactive area

Now that we have the image, we will make it interactive. To be redirected to the page when you click on the iPod Touch (the player farthest to the left), we will make a selection around the object, leaving the left mouse button pressed and delineating its contours.

Then, simply enter the name of your product corresponding to the selection. A dropdown list will open and you can then choose your product.

Scene

(Box 'Thumbnail special' allows you to load a thumbnail different from that generated by PrestaShop).

You then repeat the selection as many times as you have products in your scene.

Viewing the scene

At the bottom is the section 'Categories'. Check the categories in which you want to display your scene (Home for the index of the shop).

In our case we chose "ipods".

Here the result:
