You want to put forward a range of product on your site?
Prestashop offers you the opportunity to do so with the use of scenes. As its name suggests, it goes to stage images of your products, to redirect your customer after the product selected.
For example (we will take the stage provided with Prestashop): You have several products in the same range. (Here several different players).
To highlight the range you want to call an image in a category, or on the homepage.
Instead of a simple picture involving different players, you can add interactivity.
Thus the customer can click on each product image, which will send the product page of the player he has chosen!
How?
Managing scenes with Prestashop: you need more products listed in your catalog and a picture grouping these aforementioned products.
For our example we will use articles dummy.
We use the images provided at the facility Prestashop, so you can recreate the scene. To begin, go to the category "Catalog>> Scenes."
Creating a new scene
Click New, then enter a name for your new scene. (here: "The iPod line). Then choose the image used in the scene.
Once created the range, click on it.
Creating a new interactive area
Now that we have the image, we will make it interactive. To be redirected to the page when you click on the Ipod Touch (the player left-most), we will make a selection around the object, leaving the left button of the mouse button and delineating its contours.
Then, simply enter the name of your product corresponding to the selection. A dropdown list will open and you can then choose your product.
(Box 'Thumbnail special' allows you to load a thumbnail different from that generated by PrestaShop).
You must then repeat the selection as many times as you have products in your scene.
Viewing the scene
At the bottom is the section 'Categories'. Select the categories you want to display your scene (Home for the index of the shop).
In our case we selected "iPod".
