Prestashop: Configure and install the PayPal

Once connected, click "Test Accounts".

We will create two fictitious accounts, one to simulate a seller and a buyer to simulate.

In the "Create Account", click "Preconfigured" select countries as France, edit the information if you want except the "Account Type" let on "Buyer". This account will serve as a test when purchasing a product. Keep the password of that account and click "Create Account".

Come back to this section "Test Account" and click "Preconfigured", but this time we will change your address and "Account Type" to "Seller".

Remember the password and the addresses of both accounts. This information should be returned to the administration of PrestaShop.

Buyer account setup.

Go to the Buyer account, click on Enter Site Sandbox.

Go to the preferences of the account. Then "Preferences Instant Payment Notification".

Change settings such as:
Instant Payment Notification (IPN): Yes.
Url Instant Payment Notification (IPN): http://votreboutique.com/modules/paypal/validation.php

Go back to the account preferences. Then "Preferences for payment on the site." Set Back Off and Automatic Payment Data Transfer to Off.

Configuring your store Prestashop to communicate with Paypal

Open a new browser window and proceed to the administration of PrestaShop in the "Back Office>> Modules" and click "Install" to the PayPay module available in the "Payment".

Now click on ">> set." In the "E-mail your PayPal business account" enter the address for the "Seller".

Remember to check the Sandbox mode (test mode) below! It is very important!
When done, click "Update Settings".

Now we will connect with a customer account and purchase a product. € to the stage of selecting the payment method, click PayPal.

The PayPal page will open and you will get the login account "Buyer" previously created. Once connected, you simply click "Pay".

You just place an order on your site. You can see in control of your administration Prestashop, the one you just passed.

You can, after your testing, return to the module configuration Paypal.
Turn off Sandbox and enter your real address Paypal, which actually activate the PayPal payment option.
Remember to set your Paypal account as you set up the account Buyer.
